Pirates and Princesses Party

Congratulations to our Grand Prize winner Becky Robinson!  The waltz class and the merengue class were lots of fun, and the Pirates and Princesses were EVERYWHERE!!  Enjoy the photos and join the fun on Friday for our Post-Thanksgiving pot luck dinner and dance at 7:30.  No group class, just dancing and sharing some good food with friends.

USO Party 11/11/11

What a party!  We celebrated Veterans’ Day at Terry Dean’s, with Mark Trimpe providing some Zephyr Magic for the studio crowd - in true USO style.  We had a foxtrot lesson and swing lesson – honoring the big band tradition of the USO parties of the 40′s and 50′s.  Enjoy the photos, and be impressed with how many of our community members can still wear their uniforms.  Dancing really IS good for the figure! !

We enjoyed celebrating John Knapp’s birthday, along with Cindy’s – there was lots of merriment, and some VERY delicious cake! Cathleen’s Waltz class and Tara’s Hustle class kicked everything off and warmed us up for the party. We hope you enjoy the pictures – they are worth a thousand words!

We’ve been using Facebook to post photos from Friday night parties and to let you know the latest news.Ê However, some of our loyal students have mentioned that they prefer not to log onto Facebook so frequently.Ê Let us know if you like our new communication vehicle!

We had LOTS of announcements on Friday, from Adam, Samara and Cliff’s birthdays to our October 2 Guest NightÊ to our studio field trip to see Salute to Elvis at the Paramount on October 9.Ê We’ll have an after-party at the studio, and we’ve reserved a block of tickets, so let us know if you want to come.

Guest night is coming up soon, so think hard about who among your friends would enjoy coming to the studio.Ê The party starts at 7:00 and there is no charge for any new visitor or any student who hosts a guest.Ê We’ll have prizes and incentives, so let us know who you want to bring.Ê Partners are welcome, but not necessary!
